Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local building codes
- Lead teams of junior electricians on complex projects
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and building inspectors
- Maintain detailed project documentation and safety records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed Master Electrician
- Valid Virginia Journeyman/Master Electrician license
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, industrial controls, and VFDs
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
