Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and project timelines.
- Lead and mentor apprentice electricians and junior staff as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical details clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician License in the State of New Mexico.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
