Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure full compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Lead junior electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Master Electrician license (mandatory)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience
- Proven expertise with residential, commercial, and industrial systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Advanced diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and energy efficiency standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
