Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and local building codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and organize company tools, vehicles, and workspaces.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior apprentices and trainees.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential wiring.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working in various environments.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
