Responsibilities
- Plan, layout, and oversee complex commercial electrical installations, including high-rise buildings and industrial facilities.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and local Dallas building codes.
- Lead a team of apprentice and journeyman electricians, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all project timelines, material usage, and daily logs.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct on-site safety inspections and implement corrective measures to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician License in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage project timelines effectively.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
