Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on commercial and residential projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, estimators, and other tradespeople on job sites.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
