Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and wiring in accordance with NEC standards.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical projects efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior electricians and provide technical guidance on-site.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional updates on project status.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in North Carolina.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial and residential electrical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using electrical testing equipment, and troubleshooting circuits.
- Safety: Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and electrical safety protocols.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs when necessary.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
