Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with NEC and NYC regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Lead teams on commercial/industrial projects with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and tools
- Manage inventory, order materials, and ensure project timelines are met
- Mentor junior electricians and conduct safety training sessions
- Prepare detailed reports for project documentation and client communications
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Master Electrician License (required)
- Minimum 7 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, circuit installation, and power distribution
- Familiarity with NYC DOB permitting and inspection processes
- OSHA 30 certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit testers
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces at heights
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
