Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and electrical pathways.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Safety Management: Enforce strict safety protocols on job sites to prevent accidents and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to deliver projects on time.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license for the State of California.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional electrical experience in commercial construction.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using ammeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training or apprenticeship completion.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
