Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Supervise junior electricians and ensure compliance with NEC and NYC building codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and clients for seamless project execution
- Conduct safety inspections and implement OSHA-compliant protocols
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with low/high voltage systems, PLCs, and smart home technology
- Strong knowledge of NYC electrical codes and permitting processes
- CPR and first-aid certification
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
