Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for complex projects
- Supervise junior electricians and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and building management
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical faults
- Ensure compliance with NYC electrical codes and OSHA standards
- Manage inventory and equipment for assigned projects
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Master Electrician license
- 5+ years commercial electrical experience in NYC
- Proficiency with conduit bending, power distribution, and lighting systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NYC Electrical Code
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
