Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution units.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts and systems accurately.
- Code Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults and system failures efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients and team members to explain technical details and project status.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly maintain, test, and inspect electrical tools and equipment before and after use.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Tools: Ability to use hand and power tools independently and effectively.
- Driver's License: Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
