Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair on residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Install, maintain, and repair lighting fixtures, switchgear, and control systems.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide junior apprentices and journeyman electricians.
- Document all work orders, material usage, and time logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Master Electrician License issued by the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in using digital multimeters, voltage testers, and power tools.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
