Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical specifications for complex plumbing layouts
- Diagnose water leaks, pipe bursts, and fixture malfunctions efficiently
- Ensure all work meets DC plumbing codes and safety standards
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials/supplies
- Mentor junior plumbers and apprentices
- Provide exceptional customer service and project documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional plumbing experience
- DC Master Plumber license (required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification
- Expertise in copper, PEX, and CPVC piping systems
- Proficiency with trenchless pipe repair technologies
- Commercial plumbing system maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
