Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings (high-rises, hotels, hospitals)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Lead project teams and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients
- Ensure compliance with NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose complex system failures using advanced diagnostic tools
- Maintain inventory and order materials for commercial projects
- Mentor junior plumbers and apprentices
Qualifications
- Valid NYC Master Plumber license (required)
- Minimum 8 years commercial plumbing experience
- Expertise in high-rise and institutional systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NYC plumbing codes and Local Law 97
- Proficiency in trenchless and green plumbing technologies
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean record
