Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Install and maintain piping systems for water, gas, and drainage in compliance with local codes (DC and VA).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to plan pipe layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly to clients.
- Manage inventory and tools to ensure job site readiness.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License for Washington DC and/or Northern Virginia.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing.
- Skills: Proficiency in pipefitting, soldering, threading, and leak detection.
- Tools: Own a fully stocked, professional-grade tool belt.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency on-call rotations.
