Responsibilities
- Perform skilled plumbing work including pipefitting, water heater installation, and fixture repair.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all installations and repairs strictly comply with local and national plumbing codes.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on existing systems.
- Communicate clearly with clients and project managers regarding estimates, timelines, and project status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience in commercial and residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of various pipe materials (PVC, copper, PEX) and fittings.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
