Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance with precision and efficiency.
- Diagnose complex issues using advanced diagnostic tools and blueprints.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintaining a clean work area.
- Manage time effectively to complete jobs within estimate, regardless of job size.
- Mentor apprentice plumbers and assist in training junior staff when necessary.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and weekend calls as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Plumber license in the District of Columbia (or eligible to obtain).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the plumbing trade.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting, drainage systems, water heaters, and HVAC basics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Proven track record of reliability and excellent communication skills.
- Must provide own basic hand tools (or be willing to acquire them).
