Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead project teams and coordinate with electricians, HVAC technicians, and construction crews
- Ensure all work complies with NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage client relationships and provide expert consultation on plumbing solutions
- Maintain inventory and order materials for upcoming projects
- Train junior plumbers on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- New York State Master Plumber license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in commercial/residential settings
- Expert knowledge of NYC plumbing codes and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Certification in backflow prevention or green plumbing preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends for emergency calls
