Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform complex installations and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national plumbing codes (IPC/NPIC) and building regulations.
- Diagnosis: Utilize diagnostic tools to accurately identify and resolve leaks, clogs, and pressure issues.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train apprentice plumbers, ensuring high standards of safety and workmanship.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, provide estimates, and ensure a positive service experience from arrival to completion.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and proper safety protocols on job sites.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid State of Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional plumbing experience in commercial and residential settings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using trenchless technology, and soldering/pipe threading.
- Tools: Ability to independently operate all necessary plumbing tools and heavy equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
