The Role:
You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties across the five boroughs. We need a problem-solver who takes pride in their craft and adheres strictly to New York City plumbing codes.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems efficiently.
- Install new piping, fixtures, and heating systems according to blueprints and local codes.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent costly breakdowns.
- Evaluate client needs and provide professional, transparent solutions.
- Ensure all work meets OSHA safety standards and NYC building codes.
- Manage inventory and order necessary parts and materials.
- Mentor junior apprentices and junior plumbers on best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Plumber License issued by the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of NYC Plumbing Code (DOB) and local regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in various environments, including tight spaces and at heights.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
