Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure all work complies with Washington DC plumbing codes and regulations
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Train and mentor junior plumbing technicians
- Perform preventative maintenance on water heaters, boilers, and filtration systems
- Prepare detailed work reports and maintain accurate job documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid Washington DC Master Plumber license (PLUM)
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting
- Strong diagnostic skills for water pressure and drainage issues
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
