Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan projects.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide efficient, long-term solutions.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all installations meet local building codes and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide transparent estimates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to manage daily schedules efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license issued by the District of Columbia or Virginia Board of Contractors.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using pipe threading machines, soldering torches, and other specialized tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and work in various positions (standing, bending, kneeling).
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
