Responsibilities
- Execute earthwork operations including excavation, grading, and backfilling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, skid steers) with precision
- Install/assemble formwork, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Perform quality control checks and documentation
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment familiarity
- Flexible schedule availability (6 PM - 6 AM)
