Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation during overnight shifts
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete work, framing, and demolition tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow precise construction plans and instructions
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Participate in weekly safety briefings and quality control inspections
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work overnight shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and task coordination
- Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication abilities
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
