Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup operations
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under night shift conditions
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Perform concrete pouring, framing support, and debris removal tasks
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans accurately
- Conduct quality checks on completed work sections
- Participate in toolbox meetings and shift handovers
- Maintain organized tool inventory and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience operating power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility night conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
