Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and operate heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers)
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain project cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and execute tasks per construction specifications
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Shift flexibility with availability for overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with night shift operations preferred
