Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, etc.) with proper certifications
- Assist skilled tradesmen in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Ensure strict OSHA compliance and safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project efficiency
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (Bobcat, skid steer)
- Physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs regularly
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
