Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving operations under supervision
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery (skid steers, forklifts)
- Construct and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, equipment setup, and project tasks
- Perform quality checks on completed work and report issues to site supervisors
- Participate in daily shift briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent vocational training
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Experience operating hand/power tools and construction machinery
- Strong attention to safety protocols and detail-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work variable night shift schedules (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
