Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural framing under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material preparation and installation
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise implementation of project specifications
- Perform site cleanup and waste management to meet environmental standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or equivalent trade training
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston metro area
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced night shift environment
