Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks using heavy machinery
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) for concrete and structural work
- Install scaffolding, safety barriers, and temporary site infrastructure
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job site inventory
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with tradespeople (electricians, plumbers) on integrated projects
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or trade certification
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred (training provided)
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic survey equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow complex instructions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
