Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including jackhammers, forklifts, and power tools under supervision
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and finishing tasks
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Perform site cleanup and waste management at end of each shift
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience or equivalent training
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts (6PM-6AM) with rotating weekends
- Basic tool knowledge and equipment operation skills
- Background check and drug test required
