Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring safety compliance
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) for excavation and material handling
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely using proper lifting techniques
- Perform site cleanup and waste management per OSHA standards
- Conduct nightly equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict project timelines and quality control protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience operating power tools and heavy machinery preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Flexibility to work variable night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
