Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and earthmoving tasks using heavy machinery and hand tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) following OSHA protocols
- Maintain clean, organized worksite by removing debris and securing materials
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to support construction accuracy
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and reinforcement installation
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict safety standards in all nighttime operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience operating skid steers, excavators, or similar equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
