Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and hand tools with precision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to execute construction plans
- Perform quality control checks and report maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction experience or relevant trade certification
- OSHA 10/30 certification required (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of construction materials and methods
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) and weekends
