Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Assist skilled trades with layout, excavation, and concrete work
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout shift
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with night shift team to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across New Orleans
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts between 6 PM - 6 AM
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Pass background check and drug screening
