Responsibilities
- Execute foundational construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate light machinery (skid steers, forklifts) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespersons with layout work, concrete pouring, and framing operations
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise task execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM, Sun-Thurs)
- Experience operating construction equipment preferred
