Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety compliance
- Load/unload materials and operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) as directed
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete work, framing, demolition, and site cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE (hard hat, boots, gloves)
- Complete daily task logs and maintain organized work areas
- Adapt to changing project priorities and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California Driver's License (for equipment operation)
- Availability to work 8-10 hour shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 certification a plus)
