Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation under night shift conditions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and pneumatic tools with precision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites through debris removal and equipment maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight night-shift deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working in low-light conditions with proper PPE
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Wichita metro
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
