Responsibilities
- Execute heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks
- Operate power tools and machinery safely (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete, framing, and demolition work
- Perform trenching, excavation, and backfill operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL preferred but not required
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Memphis metro area
- Experience operating skid steers and excavators preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for overnight shifts
