Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation during overnight shifts
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Manage inventory and restock materials for overnight operations
- Participate in pre-shift safety briefings and equipment inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent training
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work overnight (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory tracking
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for shift-based assignments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction site etiquette
