Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing under night shift supervision
- Safely operate heavy machinery (backhoes, forklifts, jackhammers) with proper certification
- Inspect and maintain job site safety protocols including hazard identification and mitigation
- Load/unload materials and equipment using rigging techniques and OSHA-compliant practices
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with material preparation and site setup
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to maintain organized, compliant job sites
- Complete daily progress reports and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or equivalent vocational training
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory tracking
- Night shift availability (7 PM - 5 AM) with consistent punctuality
- Experience with hand/power tools and blueprint reading preferred
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
