Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradesmen with material handling and tool management
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs) and operate light equipment
- Complete shift reports and communicate progress to site supervisors
- Work collaboratively in diverse weather conditions overnight
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months construction or physical labor experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
