Responsibilities
- Execute heavy civil construction tasks including excavation, grading, and concrete pouring
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and light machinery safely
- Install traffic control systems and maintain OSHA-compliant job sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen with pipefitting, electrical, and HVAC installations
- Perform site cleanup, material handling, and equipment maintenance
- Follow blueprints and engineering specifications with precision
- Document daily progress and safety compliance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
