Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and concrete mixers under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment setup, and project completion
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand/power tools
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate material inventory logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work extended hours during critical project phases
