Responsibilities
- Execute heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks during night shift operations
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment safely
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous material disposal
- Read blueprints and follow written instructions from site supervisors
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and report defects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL or commercial equipment operation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and ability to work rotating night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory management
