Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling under night shift conditions
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with OSHA-certified precision
- Install scaffolding, formwork, and structural components per blueprints
- Maintain strict safety protocols and equipment maintenance routines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex urban construction projects
- Manage inventory and logistics for overnight material deliveries
- Complete daily progress reports and quality assurance documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid Michigan driver's license and clean MVR
- Proficiency with power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
