Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under night shift conditions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Assist skilled trades with material staging, equipment setup, and cleanup operations
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and site instructions
- Maintain organized work areas and secure tools/equipment at shift end
- Collaborate with day shift crews for seamless project transitions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and withstand extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to travel to North Carolina project sites as needed
