Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and material handling under supervision
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trade professionals with daily tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas per OSHA standards
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions for project specifications
- Participate in safety briefings and hazard recognition drills
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance checklists
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
