Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and power tools with precision and safety compliance
- Inspect and maintain job site safety protocols, identifying hazards and implementing corrective measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
- Load/unload construction materials and organize job site inventory efficiently
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as assigned by site supervisors
- Document daily progress and report equipment/material needs to project managers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience in commercial or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as project demands require
- Basic math skills for material calculations and inventory management
